This website uses cookies and a similar technology, browser storage. Here we explain which ones we use, what for, and how you can accept them, reject them or change your mind. This policy supplements our Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember something from one page to the next or from one visit to the next, for example what is in your basket. Browser storage (“localStorage” and “sessionStorage”) serves the same purpose, and we treat it in the same way as cookies.
2. Who the data controller is
Café los González S.L. (Cafés La Caribeña), tax identification number (CIF) B04237624, Polígono Industrial Rubira Sola, parcela V-2, 04867 Macael (Almería). Email: info@cafeslacaribena.com.
3. Which cookies we use
We group them by purpose. Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the shop to work and do not need your consent (Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, LSSI). Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them: until then, the website does not load Google Analytics or the Mailchimp script.

Some are set by a third party from its own domain within the payment process, such as Stripe (on m.stripe.com) or hCaptcha (on hcaptcha.com). Those cookies are also governed by each third party’s privacy policy: Stripe, Sift, hCaptcha, Google and Mailchimp (Intuit).
4. How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit, a notice lets you accept them all, reject them all or choose by purpose. Rejecting is just as easy as accepting, and the shop works just the same. We keep your choice for 12 months in the caribena_consentimiento cookie; after that time, we will ask you again. You can change it whenever you like from “Configure cookies”, at the bottom of every page, or from here:
If you withdraw consent for a purpose, the website deletes the cookies for that purpose that it can delete from your browser. Those that a third party sets on its own domain can only be deleted from the browser itself (section 6).
5. International transfers
Google, Mailchimp, Stripe, Sift and hCaptcha may process data in the United States, with the safeguards we explain in the Privacy policy.
6. How to delete or block cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and payment will stop working. This is how to do it in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
7. Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page. If we add a new purpose, the notice will ask you again.
